Fondata nel 1937 da Alfredo Stella, sviluppata e diretta dall’attuale Presidente Alberto oggi coadiuvato dai figli Massimo e Matteo. L’impresa ha operato fin dagli albori nel settore dell’arredo casa e nel 1980 Estel è entrata nel settore Ufficio, collocandosi in breve tempo tra i principali attori del mercato internazionale. Estel produce da sempre i propri prodotti interamente in Italia, grazie a due moderni stabilimenti industriali di oltre 70 mila mq ove sono impiegati circa 300 dipendenti. L’investimento in Ricerca e Sviluppo impiega decine di persone e rappresenta il 5% del giro d’affari. Estel opera prevalentemente nel Contract Ufficio e in forniture per Residence ed Hotel. Nel 2015, in occasione dell’Expo di Milano, Estel ha presentato il primo Italian Smart Office; tale Concept sta rappresentando un vero punto di svolta per l’azienda, passando da un approccio “tradizionale” focalizzato sul design di prodotto al design di ambiente, ove competenza e know how del mondo Casa si fondono con le nuove esigenze degli uffici del futuro.
